The short version
GuEstimate is a party game, not a data business. We collect the minimum needed to run games: a display name, an avatar colour, and your scores. We don't sell your data, and we don't show ads.
What we collect
Playing as a guest stores a device-local identity: the name you pick and your game results. If you create an account (Apple, Google, or email), we additionally store your sign-in identifier so your scores, stats, and custom questions can follow you between devices.
Live games exchange gameplay data (guesses, scores, room membership) with other players in your room. That's the game working as intended.
What we don't do
No selling personal data. No third-party ad tracking. No marketing notifications. If you enable notifications, they're for game invites and round wrap-ups, nothing else, ever.
Custom questions
Questions you write stay attached to your profile. Don't put anything in a custom question you wouldn't want your game group to read aloud. Reading it aloud is literally the game.
Deleting your data
Delete your account from Profile → Settings and your identity, stats, and custom questions go with it. Guest data lives on your device and clears when you remove the app.
Questions
This policy will grow more formal as GuEstimate approaches launch. If something here worries you, hold that thought. A contact channel ships with the release build.
